If you are teaching students who fall into distinct groups, you may find our Classes feature useful. For example, you may wish to separate student accounts into different groups based on age, school year, or a particular teacher who is guiding their usage of the course.

To add a class, go to the Students menu, select the Classes tab, and click the Add Class button

Enter a class name then click Create

Click on the class to start adding users 

You can add existing users or new users to the class by selecting the Add student dropdown menu

To add existing users, click Add Students > Add existing users to class. Tick the users you wish to add to the class, and then click Assign to class

From the Add Students dropdown, select Add Manually. Then enter the user’s first and last name, and add their email address if they have one

On the Class page, open the Actions dropdown and select Assign Teachers

Choose the teacher you want to assign from the list, then click Save changes to confirm
