The Three Progress Bars

A quick visual guide to tracking student performance in real time.

The three progress bars in the TTRS typing interface provide an instant snapshot of how a student is performing during a module. Positioned around the on-screen keyboard, these bars help teachers quickly monitor speed, progress, and accuracy without interrupting the lesson.

  1. Left Bar – Words Per Minute (WPM): Displays the student’s current typing speed.

  2. Top Bar – Module Progress: Shows how much of the current module has been completed.

  3. Right Bar – Accuracy: Indicates how accurately the student is typing.

Together, these three bars give teachers a clear, at-a-glance overview of each student’s performance during a module, making it easier to spot areas in which they may need additional support.
