Starting something new can feel overwhelming, but TTRS is designed to make progress feel manageable and motivating. This guide will walk you through logging in, beginning your course, and setting up a routine that works for you.

🧭 Logging In and Getting Set Up

⌨️ Starting the Course

  • Begin with Module 1, Level 1 – even if you’ve typed before

  • The early levels reinforce core spelling and typing patterns

  • Each module takes about 5 minutes to complete

📅 Recommended Practice Routine

  • Aim for 2–3 modules per session, 3–4 times per week

  • Sessions can last 10–30 minutes, depending on your energy and focus

  • Feel free to repeat any module that feels difficult

Tip: There’s no time pressure – accuracy matters more than speed early on.

🏆 Staying Motivated

  • Track your progress in the My Stats page

  • Set personal goals like “3 modules before lunch”

  • Earn trophies and certificates as milestones

🌟 Tip: Try the Free Writing Tool to practice touch-typing your own text

Dictation modules

  • Every 5th module is a dictation exercise (audio only, no visual text)

  • Turn dictations on or off anytime in your settings

  • You can also convert any module into a dictation challenge

🎯 Tip: Dictation exercises help build spelling and auditory processing skills.

✍️ Free Writing Tool

  • Type your ideas or use prompts

  • Get feedback on correct spelling and typing speed

⚙️ Personalizing Your Experience

In Settings, you can:

  • Set the font, background, and contrast of your text (adjust these metrics to boost readability)

  • Choose one-handed typing mode (if needed)

  • Show or hide typing speed

🧩 Tip: Everyone learns differently — customize TTRS to suit your needs.

With consistent practice and small, achievable goals, you’ll steadily build confidence in both typing and spelling. If you have any questions or need support along the way, our team is always happy to help.
