Managing multiple accounts in TTRS is simple and flexible. Whether you’re a parent, school administrator, or teacher, there may be times when you need to switch between your account and a student's. Follow the steps below to make sure you’re accessing the correct profile.
Switching from an admin to a student account
Option 1: Select the correct account at login
When logging in to an admin account you may see a menu asking you to select the account you'd like to use.
Option 2: Switch after logging in to an admin account
If the admin account has already been opened:
Navigate to the Students tab in the dashboard.
Locate the student’s name in the list.
Click “Log in as this user” under the selected student’s account.
You can also double click on a student to open their statistics page then use the Actions dropdown menu and select Log in as this student.
This will log you in to the student's profile. If you need to switch back, you can always do so by accessing the dropdown menu under the student avatar button at the top right of your screen and selecting Switch back.
Why it’s important to log in to the correct account
While Admin and teacher accounts also have access to the Main Course, it's important students use their own account when completing modules. This is because student accounts track more robust course and spelling statistics and have additional settings to help with motivation.
Admin and teacher accounts can be used to manage settings, generate reports, and create custom content.
