Students can earn trophies when they complete levels in the Main course and Subjects. Trophies are either bronze, silver, or gold.
Bronze is achieved with an average module score of between 1-50%
Silver is achieved with an average module score of 51-79%
Gold is achieved with an average module score of 80% or above
Note, the default pass rate for each module in the TTRS Course is 80%. If this pass mark setting remains on, a completed level will result in a gold trophy.
There are 4 large trophies to collect. The first large trophy is collected when the student has completed the first 6 levels.
When you click on a trophy, you will see more details. An example is shown below.
Using the Print and Share button you can issue a completion certificate that comes with the trophy.
Viewing trophies
You can view a student's trophies by selecting the student from the Students tab inside your Admin account. Select Achievements and Trophy room from the right hand toggle. If you don't see this option, it may be you have the "Show trophies on a student's page" setting disabled.
Students can view collected trophies from their own My stats page. They will see a summary table including all of the trophies they've earned so far, with more details on individual trophies as they scroll down under the Achievements tab.
Turning trophies off
For students who find gamified learning stressful, you can easily turn trophy collection off.
To turn trophies off for an individual learner, visit their personal settings from inside the Students tab in your Admin account. Select the student, choose the Actions dropdown menu --> Settings and toggle "Show level trophies on a student's page" off under the General settings tab. Hit the "Apply changes" button to save this update to their account.
