Collecting trophies in TTRS

Find out how students collect trophies in TTRS as part of their learning journey

Written by Meredith Cicerchia

What are trophies?

Trophies are a fun way to reward students for their progress in TTRS. Students can earn trophies by completing levels in both the Main Course and Subjects. These achievements help celebrate success, encourage regular practice, and keep learners motivated as they work through the program.

Trophies are awarded in three levels based on a student's average module score:

  • Bronze Trophy: 1–50%

  • Silver Trophy: 51–79%

  • Gold Trophy: 80% or above

Note: The default pass mark for each module in the TTRS Course is 80%. If this setting remains unchanged, students who complete a level will typically earn a Gold Trophy.

There are 4 large trophies to collect. The first large trophy is collected when the student has completed the first 6 levels.

When you click on a trophy, you can see additional details. An example is shown below.

Using the Print and Share button you can issue a completion certificate that comes with the trophy.

Viewing trophies

You can view a student's trophies by selecting the student from the Students tab inside your Admin account. Select Achievements and Trophy room from the toggle. If you don't see this option, it may be you have the "Show trophies on a student's page" setting disabled.

Students can view collected trophies from their own My stats page. They will see a summary table including all of the trophies they've earned so far, with more details on individual trophies as they scroll down under the Achievements tab.

Turning trophies off

By default, the Show level trophies on a student's page setting is turned on, allowing students to view and collect trophies as they progress through TTRS.

For students who find gamified learning stressful, you can easily turn trophy collection off.

To turn trophies off for an individual learner, go to the Students tab in your Admin account and select the student. Open the Actions dropdown menu, choose Settings, and under the General tab, switch Show level trophies on a student's page off. Click Apply Changes to save the update.
