Wonde enables your school's register — sometimes referred to as your MIS (Management Information System) or SIS (Student Information System) — to communicate directly with Touch-type Read and Spell. It is available to schools throughout the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and internationally.
What Wonde does
Once configured, the integration allows you to:
Import pupils directly from your school's database into Touch-type Read and Spell
Reconcile existing TTRS accounts with the corresponding records in your school database
Keep pupil records automatically aligned with your school database going forward
Benefits
Saves administrative time — there is no need to prepare upload spreadsheets, manually amend classes throughout the year, add new arrivals individually, remove leavers, or rebuild classes each September.
Improves data accuracy — pupil names are drawn directly from your school database, removing the risk of manual transcription errors.
No cost to schools — the integration carries no charge.
How to set it up
Wonde partners with schools and software providers globally. Your school business manager should contact Wonde directly to begin the process; your data remains protected throughout.

Email support@readandspell.com to confirm you would like to proceed with the Wonde integration.
Next stages
New pupils will initially appear in your archived list, from which you can select which to move into your active roster. This synchronisation typically takes place within 24 hours.
Where a pupil is removed from your school database, their TTRS record will be deleted automatically within 24 hours.
From this point onward, the process runs without further action required on your part.
Data Security
Wonde provides a secure, established method of transferring data between your school's database and third-party applications such as Touch-type Read and Spell.

As part of the setup process, your school will be issued a free Wonde portal, through which you can grant or withdraw TTRS's access to your data at any time: https://www.wonde.com/school/how-it-works/
This portal gives you full control over which data fields are shared — we can only access what you have explicitly approved.
The following pupil data is imported:
Pupil name
A unique pupil identifier, used to track each pupil accurately as they progress through the school
